U-ART FOUNDATION (Nederlands)

Art act as a reflection of the society. Except in developing countries, there is no money to develop the art into entrepreneurship. Thus U-ART foundation was initiated to support and work together in partnership with youth groups or women groups actively involved in Art to educate, facilitate and advice them into developing their skills into entrepreneurship.

Exchange of ideas and networking between people is development and empowerment at the same time. U-ART Foundation being based in the Netherlands with it’s vast network within the Netherlands of artists and entrepreneurs and vice-versa in Uganda would act as a bridge to bring the different artists, students, and entrepreneurs from the Netherlands with the grassroots level in Uganda. We intend to do this through workshops, internships and exchange programs between the Dutch and Ugandan artists. Networking and sharing of experiences are the core of our projects.
